ARCHANA means “chanting and glorifying the Divine name”. LAK means 100,000. Therefore, LAKSHARCHANA is the name and practice of repeating in a group, the name of the Lord in the form of a Mantra. In this temple, we follow the practice of having a minimum of 100 people reciting 1008 mantras all in a group. 

Sankalpam starts by 8:15 AM

Special Abhishekam for Murugan Valli Devasena starts from 8:30 AM - 8:50 AM

Followed by Thirupugazh recitation by Anbargals, Laksharchana and MAHARATHI

Devotees are requested to keep ready the lighted lamp in their homes and start  recitation of Sahashara Namavali Archana with flower / akshayata in co-ordination with Temple recitation. 

Sponsors are requested to mention the Gotharam, family members name, Nakshtram and Rasi for Sankalpam
