The First Phase Of The Temple Was Inaugurated By Col. Mr. P.S.Grewal, Station Commander, Dehu Road Cantonment On 21st Of June 1976. Initially The Photograph Of The Lord Shri Subramaniya Swamy Was Worshipped And Daily Pujas Were Performed.​​The Idol Of Lord Shri Subramaniya Swamy And His Divine Consorts – Goddesses Valli And Deivayanai Were Donated By “Thavathiru Balamurugan Adimai Swamigal Of Arulmigu Balamurugan Thirukkovil”, Rathinagiri, Tamil Nadu. The First Kumbhabhishekam Was Performed On 4th Of April 1985 On The Panguni Uthiram Day.
